This course provides an introduction to the study of human behaviour. Students are introduced to the history of psychology, its methods, and the current state of research knowledge. A wide range of topics will be surveyed, including learning, memory, perception biological psychology, social psychology, psychological development in children, personality, psychological disorders, therapy, health psychology and ethics in research and clinical practice. NOTE: Open to students enrolled in: Bachelor of Nursing, Practical Nurse Diploma, and Mount Royal – Bachelor of Science - Environmental Science programs. Not open to students with credit in PSYCH 104, PSYCH 105, or PSYCH 106.
