CHSD 223/Lecture/INTS - Working with ELL Children | Credits 1.00
This course will enable the student to develop greater knowledge of the unique needs of ELL (English Language Learner) children. It will provide the Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Educator with ideas and strategies about how to assist ELL children with speaking, reading, writing English, as well as activities for listening to English in a meaningful way. Prerequisite: Enrolled in the EA certificate program OR if you are employed in the early learning child care field a letter from your employer on a company letterhead indicating you work with children ages birth to school age.
